Pediatric endocrinologists are trained to care for the endocrine system in children, which controls the release and transport of hormones throughout the body. Hormones play a vital role in a child's growth and development. As a result, children with endocrine disorders require the attention of a pediatric endocrinologist. Specially trained to diagnose and treat pediatric hormonal issues, Dr. Serrat can craft a custom treatment plan for each patient.
